YAY!

We got back from our road trip and this is what greated us!

Week 2

The Zucchini grew an inch over night!

Garlic Chives (far left)
Cucumbers (middle back)
Bean (middle) This guy wasn't even above soil last night!
Broccoli (right of the bean)
Lettuce (looking sad in the front)

Week 1.5

I'm worried about the lettuce seedlings... Ben pulled all but two out and tossed them on the floor. I probably should have just started over, but I replanted them. We'll see what happens.

In an effort to become more self sufficient, we are starting our family garden. Its been YEARS since either of us have participated in gardening (and most of that was playing with water and avoiding work!) so if nothing else, it should entertain one and all!
